How is the Helium Foundation involved in this project?
The Helium Foundation awarded Relay a grant to build and maintain the API. Foundation's funding and guidance keep the project open and community-focused.
Why did you build this API?
While developing the Relay platform we hit the same roadblocks everyone faces with Helium’s raw S3 data. We built Relay API to remove that pain and make Oracle data instantly usable.
Is the original Relay platform still around?
LongFi has acquired Relay platform to accelerate buildout of the DePIN infrastructure and automate Helium networks management. You can learn more about LongFi platform at longfisolutions.com.
Can I process Helium payments through the API?
Not today. Relay API serves Helium Oracle and Solana On-chain data at this point.
What data can I pull right now?
With Relay API you can access any Helium data you need. The API serves all Helium Oracle and Solana On-chain data. On a paid plan, API allows to fetch historical data from Helium L1.
I’m not technical - can I still use the API?
Absolutely. Relay API is built with REST protocol and is non-technical friendly. You can easily use API with any modern no-code/low-code tool like Zapier, Webflow, Airtable, and others.
